Description:	This position will involve securing food grade grower contracts for soybeans and dry beans and the sales and servicing of crop inputs in North Perth County and surrounding areas. Regular contact with an established customer base and developing prospects is required to ensure customer satisfaction and to capitalize on opportunities.
Responsibilities:	Ultimately the success of this position is measured through the candidate’s ability to successfully develop and maintain sales and contracting targets. The successful candidate will be an energetic and goal oriented individual with a technical understanding of crop production practices. Must be able to work under minimal supervision and should have ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in sales/or marketing of crop retail/food grade contracting is considered a benefit. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are also required. A post-secondary degree/diploma in agriculture is desired for this position. A Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) designation or the desire to achieve within 2 years is required.
