Hensall District Co-operative (HDC) is committed to being a leader in providing consumer focused agricultural products that meet the requirements of our valued customers. HDC is focused on providing consistent and continuously improved quality and services. For this reason, employees’ job responsibilities include important elements regarding product quality and food safety.

A vital part of the Quality Assurance System that HDC uses is based on recording Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) used by our food producers. The FieldTrace program allows HDC’s food producers to link their fields to their crops and contracts in order to record the practices that are being used.

In addition, HDC is HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) & CIPRS (Certified Identity Preserved Recognition System) certified in order to ensure safety of our products with the consumer and to provide value and security of maintaining the identity of our products.
