In order to communicate the best practices for the production of our food grade soybeans and dry beans, HDC has developed Production Guidelines that cover the practices that coincide with our production contracts. These guidelines include a list of crop protection products that are approved for use by our end use customers. Also included are topics such as planting rates, disease & insect control, preventing contamination and harvesting.
HDC’s ability to provide the quality of product designated in the contracts with our end users begins with the quality that we receive from our food producers. HDC’s Production Guidelines are mailed out to contracted growers in the spring but available from any HDC location or to users logged into the FieldTrace system at any time.
